Team, I’m sorry. Some minor technical difficulties and other travel and work related stuff have got me off my game a bit. Here’s what people cost and who they are facing. It’s been fun playing fantasy and doing projections. Next season will be so much more involved and so much fun. I promise I’ll have my battle rhythm fixed by next season to always give you analysis with time to spare.
Kris Olivo (Alabama Twisters) – $1600 – 0 points – INACTIVE (injury – we’ll see him in the playoffs of September 10th).
Christos Papadelos (Dollamur) – $1600 – 6 points – faces Jonathan Wilson (Tropic Thunders), Juan Martinez V (Kings), and Matt Masch (Twisters). Christos has been phenomenal this season. He’s definitely in the playoffs, but he’s a big team player and will still try to help his team win the overall championship. I think Masch is his toughest opponent here, but Wilson proved hard to leglock in Week 4. Papadelos is guaranteed at least 6 points, but he’s pricey.
Dominic Mejia (Alabama Twisters) – $1550 – 9 points – faces Juan Martinez V (Kings), John Chandler (Thunders), and Mike John (Dollamur). Mejia settled for a break last week when he likely could have earned a Kill. Maybe he’s seeing the writing on the wall that he’s in the playoffs. With the Team title on the line and bragging rights against his real-life teammates Christos and Landon, 9 points is likely the basement for Mejia this week. He’s a must roster if you can find a way to make the budget work. This man lives for the KILLS!
Derek Rayfield (Team Dollamur) – $1500 – 6 points – faces John Chandler (Thunders), Jett Thompson (Kings), and Raphael Ferreira (Twisters). Rayfield has been on a tear – easily the best free agent along with Mejia above. Plus, he’s just fun to watch. But he’s facing a tough group of competitors – two of the favorites from the draft in Jett and Rafa and then the stopper in Chandler.
